Quick Facts
A Note Before You Order
Select the correct motor voltage and cord length for your installation. Scott Aerator specifies that 115V motors should be installed no more than 100 feet from the main breaker. A GFCI is required, and the manufacturer recommends using a licensed electrical contractor. Do not use an extension cord to supply power to the motor. Always disconnect power when swimmers are present.
Scott Aerator Cambridge Fountain For Small, Residential Ponds
The Cambridge Fountain creates a multi-tiered classic spray pattern designed to add movement and visual interest to small residential ponds. Its display can reach up to 25 feet high and 35 feet wide while circulating water through a 65 GPM flow rate.
The Cambridge is available with 1/2 HP and 3/4 HP oil-free stainless steel submersible motors in 115V or 230V configurations. The fountain is designed for continuous operation, works in both fresh and salt water, and accepts optional light kits for nighttime display. Its components are designed to remain in the water through winter when the power is turned off.
Configuration Guide
Cambridge 1/2 HP

Cambridge 3/4 HP
The 3/4 HP Cambridge is available in 115V or 230V configurations and produces a 65 GPM flow rate. The 3/4 HP model creates the Cambridge spray pattern up to 25 feet high and 35 feet wide.

Specifications & Details
Installation & Assembly
Included Components
The assembly kit includes the float platform, pump assembly, stainless steel filter, two stainless steel bolts, stainless steel nuts and washers, and three stainless steel screws.
Anchoring
Two nylon anchoring lines attach to the stainless steel eye bolts. The fountain can be secured to shore or anchored with two concrete blocks submerged at least 20 feet apart. The anchoring ropes and weights are not included.
Electrical Installation
A GFCI is required for operation. The manufacturer recommends using a licensed electrical contractor. Do not use an extension cord to supply power to the motor, and always disconnect power when swimmers are present.
Cable Requirements
The correct cable size and maximum cable length depend on motor horsepower and voltage. The supplied cable is 100 feet for the Cambridge configuration, with longer lengths available. The manufacturer's motor specifications should be followed when determining the required cable size and length.
Maintenance & Winter Operation
Routine Maintenance
The Cambridge requires little routine maintenance under normal operating conditions. When the fountain is removed from the water, the manufacturer recommends washing it with high-pressure water and visually inspecting the unit to make sure nothing is restricting water flow.
Winter Operation
The manufacturer recommends leaving the fountain in the water during winter. Turn off the power supply during freezing conditions and restore power after the water thaws. The fountain components are designed to withstand sub-zero conditions without damage.
Anchoring Line Replacement
Quality nylon anchoring rope that is 3/8 inch or thicker should be replaced every five years. When replacing the ropes, the fountain can also be cleaned and inspected for anything that may restrict water flow.
Warranty
5-Year Motor Warranty
The Cambridge Fountain motor carries an unconditional 5-year motor warranty from Scott Aerator, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms.
