A Note Before You Order

Select the correct motor voltage and power configuration before purchasing. For proper operation of a 115-volt motor, the manufacturer states that the distance from the main breaker to the fountain or aerator must not exceed 100 feet. A GFCI is required, and Scott Aerator recommends using a licensed electrical contractor. Do not use an extension cord to supply power to the motor. Always disconnect power when swimmers are present.

Scott Aerator Atriarch Fountain For Small, Residential Ponds

The Atriarch Fountain combines a classic brass nozzle arrangement with water circulation that helps improve oxygen distribution throughout the pond. Its solid brass center nozzle is surrounded by eight individual brass nozzles, producing a broad display that works well as a focal point for smaller residential ponds.

The small residential Atriarch uses a 1/2 HP oil-free stainless steel submersible motor and produces approximately 45 gallons per minute with a spray pattern measuring about 20 feet high by 35 feet wide. The fountain is available in 115V or 230V configurations and is designed for both fresh and salt water.

Optional LED lighting can be added to create a nighttime display, while the stainless steel construction, oil-free motor, and simple floating installation help keep ongoing maintenance requirements low. The Atriarch is made in the USA and includes a 5-year motor warranty.

Installation & Assembly

Float & Pump Assembly

The fountain assembly includes the float, pump assembly, stainless steel filter basket, stainless steel hardware, and fountain head. The float is secured with the supplied bolts, washers, and nuts, while the stainless steel filter is attached with the supplied screws.

Anchoring

Two nylon anchoring ropes attach to the stainless steel eyebolts. The fountain can be secured to shore or anchored with two concrete blocks submerged at least 20 feet apart. Anchoring ropes and weights are not included.

Electrical Installation

A GFCI is required for operation. The installation instructions recommend using a licensed electrical contractor. Do not use an extension cord to supply power to the fountain motor, and always disconnect power whenever swimmers are present.

Water Placement

The Atriarch requires a minimum pond depth of 36 inches. Once the fountain is positioned in the water, attach the fountain head and secure the anchoring lines before supplying electrical power.

Maintenance & Winter Operation

Routine Maintenance

The fountain requires little routine maintenance under normal operating conditions. When the unit is removed from the water, inspect the fountain and wash it with high-pressure water to remove debris or anything that could restrict water flow.

Anchoring Rope Replacement

Quality nylon anchoring rope measuring 3/8 inch or thicker should be replaced every five years. Rope replacement is also a good opportunity to inspect the fountain and clean the unit.

Winter Operation

Scott Aerator recommends leaving the fountain in the water during winter rather than removing it. Turn off the power supply during freezing conditions and restore power after the water thaws. The manufacturer states that the fountain components can withstand sub-zero conditions without damage.

Accessories & Options

Color-Changing LED Fountain Lights

Programmable color-changing LED light sets are available in two-light and four-light configurations. The system includes a long-range remote and programmable timer for controlling the fountain lighting.

Night Glo LED Residential Lights

Night Glo residential LED light sets are available in two-light and four-light configurations. The system uses an all-weather transformer with a programmable digital timer.

Timers

Timers are available for 115V and 230V fountain motors. A timer can help automate operation while reducing unnecessary runtime.

Extended Power Cable

The standard 70-foot power cable can be ordered in greater lengths when the installation requires additional distance between the fountain motor and the power source.

Warranty

5-Year Motor Warranty

The Atriarch motor is covered by an unconditional 5-year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship under normal operating conditions.

Other product components are covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms.
