Quick Facts
A Note Before You Order
Select the correct motor voltage, cord length, and lighting configuration before purchasing. A GFCI is required for operation, and Scott Aerator recommends using a licensed electrical contractor. Do not use an extension cord to supply power to the motor. Always disconnect power when swimmers are present. For 115V installations, Scott Aerator specifies maximum cable distances from the motor to the main power based on wire size, so longer installations may require a 230V configuration or properly sized electrical wiring.
Scott Aerator Skyward Fountain For Medium, Residential Ponds
The Skyward Fountain creates a broad floating water display with a height-adjustable center column and spreading side jets. It is designed for medium residential ponds where a visible fountain display can also contribute to water circulation and oxygen movement.
The Skyward is available with 3/4 HP, 1 HP, and 1-1/2 HP motor configurations. Depending on the selected motor, the fountain produces up to 40 feet of vertical spray and up to 50 feet of width. Optional LED lighting can be added for nighttime operation, with both color-changing and Night Glo lighting configurations available.

Installation & Assembly
Included Components
The fountain assembly includes the float platform, pump assembly, stainless steel filter, stainless steel bolts, nuts, washers, and stainless steel screws. A 5/16-inch wrench or socket driver and two 1/2-inch wrenches or pliers are recommended for assembly.
Anchoring
Two nylon anchoring ropes are attached to the stainless steel eye bolts. The fountain can be secured to shore or anchored with two concrete blocks submerged at least 20 feet apart. Anchoring ropes and weights are not included.
Electrical Installation
A GFCI is required for operation. Scott Aerator recommends using a licensed electrical contractor and specifically states that an extension cord should not be used to supply power to the motor. Power must always be disconnected when swimmers are present.
Maintenance & Winter Operation
Routine Maintenance
The Skyward requires very little routine maintenance under normal operating conditions. When the fountain is removed from the water, wash the unit with high-pressure water and inspect the fountain to make sure nothing is restricting water flow.
Winter Operation
The manufacturer recommends leaving the fountain in the water during winter rather than removing it. Turn off the power supply during freezing conditions and restore power after the water thaws. The fountain components are designed to withstand sub-zero conditions.
Anchoring Rope Replacement
Quality nylon anchoring rope that is 3/8 inch or thicker should be replaced every five years. This is also a good time to clean and inspect the fountain for debris or anything that could restrict water flow.
Warranty
5-Year Motor Warranty
The Skyward motor is covered by a 5-year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship under normal operating conditions.
Other product components are covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms.
