Quick Facts
A Note Before You Order
The Beachroller is a manual tool that works along the lake or pond bottom. It is intended for removing aquatic weeds and loosening muck and sediment from swimming and beachfront areas. The roller needs to be placed in the water and allowed to fill and sink before it is pushed across the bottom.
Scott Aerator Beachroller Weed Eliminator
The Beachroller Weed Eliminator is a manual lake management tool designed to remove aquatic weeds directly from the lake or pond bottom. Instead of simply cutting vegetation near the surface, the roller works along the bottom to cut, rip, and pull weeds while also loosening accumulated muck and sediment.
The two-foot-wide roller uses six specially designed blades that work as the unit moves across the lakebed. Its design helps clear weeds from swimming areas and beachfront property while breaking up compacted muck and silt. The weeds are designed to release from the roller as it moves, allowing you to continue working without repeatedly stopping to clear vegetation.
How It Works
Place the Roller in the Water
Lower the two-foot-wide Beachroller into the water and allow the roller to fill with water and sink to the lake or pond bottom.
Push Across the Lake Bottom
Use the handle to push the roller across the bottom. As it moves, the blades work against aquatic weeds and accumulated sediment.
Remove Weeds and Loosen Muck
The six-blade system cuts, rips, and pulls weeds from the bottom while helping break up muck and silt.

Operation & Use
Preparing the Beachroller
Lower the roller into the water and allow it to fill with water. Once the roller sinks to the bottom, use the handle to position it in the area you want to clear.
Removing Aquatic Weeds
Push the Beachroller across the lake bottom so the six blades can cut and pull weeds from the bottom. Continue working across the affected area as needed.
Loosening Muck and Sediment
The roller also works against accumulated muck and silt as it travels across the bottom, helping loosen compacted sediment in swimming and beachfront areas.
Maintenance & Storage
Manual Operation
The Beachroller operates manually and does not require electrical power, fuel, or a motor to remove weeds and loosen sediment.
Blade Inspection
Inspect the roller and blade system periodically for debris, damage, or conditions that could interfere with normal operation.
Storage
When the Beachroller is not being used, store the unit in a suitable location where the roller, blades, and handle can remain protected from unnecessary damage.
