A Note Before You Order

Choose the ProLake³ configuration based on the surface area of your pond or lake and the number of diffuser locations required. The system is available with 115V or 230V compressors. Electrical installation should follow applicable local requirements and the manufacturer's installation instructions. The weighted airline and equipment pad are not included as standard and may need to be purchased separately.

ProLake³ Electric Aeration System

The ProLake³ Electric Aeration System is designed for ponds and lakes requiring multiple diffuser locations and higher air volume. The system uses three 1/2 HP compressors to deliver up to 15.9 CFM of air through Duraplate™ diffusers, helping move oxygen-depleted water from deeper areas toward the surface while supporting circulation throughout the water column.

Four configurations are available: ProLake³ 3.9, 3.10, 3.11, and 3.12. The model number identifies the three-compressor system and the number of Duraplate™ diffuser locations included. Depending on the configuration, the system is designed for ponds and lakes up to 9, 10, 11, or 12 acres.

The compressors, manifolds, pressure gauge, cooling fan, and electrical components are housed in a durable sound-deadening cabinet. The cabinet can be positioned away from the water's edge when electrical access is more convenient at a remote location. ProLake states that the cabinet can be installed up to 4,000 feet from the water by running 1/2-inch PVC to a remote manifold, with airline then routed from the manifold to the Duraplate™ diffusers.

Installation & Assembly

System Layout

The ProLake³ system uses three compressors connected through a 3-port or 4-port manifold arrangement to supply air to 9 through 12 Duraplate™ diffuser locations, depending on the selected configuration.

Cabinet Location

The aeration cabinet can be installed away from the pond or lake where electrical service is easier to provide. ProLake states that the cabinet may be installed up to 4,000 feet from the water's edge using 1/2-inch PVC to a remote manifold, with airlines then connected to the diffusers.

Diffuser Placement

Duraplate™ diffusers are installed at the selected locations throughout the pond or lake. The maximum diffuser depth is 50 feet. Proper diffuser placement and airline routing should follow the system layout and installation requirements.

Electrical Installation

Electrical installation should be completed according to applicable electrical codes and the manufacturer's installation manual. Select the appropriate 115V or 230V compressor configuration for the available electrical service.

Maintenance & Operation

Compressor Maintenance

Keep the compressor cabinet clean and make sure air intake and cooling components remain free of debris. Periodic inspection of filters, airlines, manifolds, fittings, and diffuser assemblies helps maintain proper airflow.

Diffuser Maintenance

The Duraplate™ diffusers are designed to resist clogging and are intended for long-term use. Inspect the diffuser assemblies and airline connections periodically for damage, blockage, or other conditions that could reduce airflow.

Continuous Operation

The ProLake³ system is designed for 24/7 operation. Operating schedules should be selected according to the pond or lake management plan and the manufacturer's recommendations.

2-Year Complete Product Warranty

The ProLake³ system carries a 2-year complete product warranty. The 115V or 230V compressors and cabinet are also covered for 2 years under the manufacturer's warranty terms.

Duraplate™ diffusers and Alpine™ 1/2-inch weighted airline are listed with lifetime warranties, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms.
