A Note Before You Order

The included transformer and control unit are required components of the lighting system. Do not bypass the transformer or connect the light fixtures directly to 110V power. Doing so can damage the fixtures, void the warranty, and create a safety hazard. The timer should be connected to a GFCI-protected receptacle.

Bring your fountain to life after dark with Scott Aerator Color-Changing LED Light Sets. These underwater RGB LED lights are designed to add adjustable color and illumination to new or existing Scott Aerator fountains, creating a visible nighttime focal point around your pond or lake.

Choose a two-light or four-light configuration, with each stainless steel fixture producing 1,230 lumens at 24 watts. The included remote lets you select colors, adjust brightness and saturation, and switch between static and dynamic color effects. Bluetooth control through the Tuya app provides additional lighting adjustments and scene controls.

Each set includes a programmable timer, exterior-grade power supply, stainless steel mounting hardware, and 100 feet of submersible power cord. Longer cord lengths are available when needed for your installation.

Installation & Assembly

Mounting the Lights

Attach each stainless steel arm assembly to the fountain using the provided hardware. The lights mount to the slotted end of the stainless steel arms and can be positioned along the arm by loosening and retightening the lock nut.

Transformer and Control Unit

The transformer control unit includes the timer and LED control box. Mount the unit securely to a wall or post using the supplied mounting brackets. The transformer is an integral part of the system and must not be bypassed.

Electrical Connection

Mount the timer near a GFCI receptacle with the light sensor facing outward. Plug the timer into the GFCI outlet, then connect the lights to the timer and control system provided with the kit.

Light Sensor Placement

For the automatic timer function to operate properly, position the light sensor where it receives direct sunlight while remaining shielded from nighttime light sources such as floodlights.

Lighting Control & Operation

Color Selection

The remote can select static RGBW colors and cycle through dynamic color-changing modes. Available color controls include red, green, blue, white, and a range of blended colors. Brightness and color saturation can also be adjusted.

Remote Control

The included remote provides on/off control, static color selection, dynamic color modes, color-change speed adjustment, saturation control, brightness adjustment, and programmable scene controls.

Bluetooth App

The lighting system can connect to the Tuya app through Bluetooth. The app provides access to color selection, brightness and saturation controls, scenes, music-related effects, and a timer function for turning the lights on or off within a 24-hour period.

Timer Settings

The timer can be set to OFF, ON, 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours, or Dusk-to-Dawn operation. The automatic function uses the light sensor to determine when dusk and dawn occur.

Maintenance & Care

Remote Control Care

The remote control is not designed for water exposure or outdoor storage. Remove the batteries if the remote will not be used for an extended period. Replace the batteries when remote range or responsiveness decreases.

Light Sensor

Keep the light sensor positioned where it can receive direct sunlight while avoiding artificial nighttime light. Proper sensor placement helps the automatic timer operate as intended.

Transformer Protection

Do not bypass, remove, or replace the supplied transformer and control system with a direct 110V connection. The transformer is required for proper operation and fixture protection.
