A Note Before You Order

Select the correct motor voltage and cord length for your installation. For proper operation of the 115V motor, the distance from the main breaker to the fountain should not exceed 100 feet. If the distance is greater than 100 feet, select the 230V motor. A GFCI is required, and power must always be disconnected whenever swimmers are present.

The Scott Aerator Gusher Fountain creates a tall, dense column of water with a cascading pattern designed to remain visible even in changing wind conditions. The 1/2 HP residential model produces a spray pattern reaching approximately 15 feet high while circulating 50 gallons of water per minute.

Beyond its visual appeal, the Gusher moves and aerates the water, helping introduce oxygen throughout the pond. The increased circulation can support water clarity and help with the natural breakdown of decaying vegetation. Optional lighting can also be added for nighttime operation and viewing. The oil-free stainless steel motor requires no oil changes and is designed for continuous operation in both fresh and salt water.

Configuration Guide

1/2 HP 115V

The 115V configuration uses a 1/2 HP oil-free motor with a 50 GPM flow rate and a 15-foot spray height. The standard power cord is 70 feet long and includes a plug.

For proper operation, the distance from the main breaker to the fountain should not exceed 100 feet.

1/2 HP 230V

The 230V configuration uses the same 1/2 HP motor, 50 GPM flow rate, and 15-foot spray height. The standard 230V cord is 70 feet long, with longer cord lengths available.

The 230V configuration is recommended when the distance from the main breaker to the fountain exceeds the 100-foot limit for the 115V setup.

Cord Length Options

Cord lengths are available in multiple configurations, including 70, 100, 150, and 200 feet depending on the selected motor voltage. Longer cords can be ordered when required for the installation.

Optional Lighting

The Gusher can be ordered without lights or configured with optional two-light or four-light LED systems. Available options include color-changing LED lights and Night Glo LED light sets.

Floating Installation

The Gusher is installed as a floating fountain in the pond. The unit should be positioned in water with a minimum depth of 36 inches to provide the required operating clearance for the 1/2 HP model.

Anchoring

Two nylon anchoring ropes are required to secure the fountain. Two 25-pound weights or suitable concrete blocks are used as anchors and are not included with the fountain.

Electrical Installation

A GFCI is required for operation. The selected voltage should match the available electrical service and installation distance. Always disconnect power before entering the water or whenever swimmers are present.

Safety & Compliance

The Gusher requires GFCI protection and is ARL-tested for compliance with applicable UL standards and the National Electric Code when installed as a complete package.
