A Note Before You Order

Choose the ProLake⁴ configuration based on the surface area of your pond or lake and the number of diffuser stations required. Each configuration uses four compressors and is available in 115V or 230V. Weighted airline is not included with the standard systems, and the manufacturer recommends following the electrical installation instructions and applicable local electrical requirements.

ProLake⁴ Electric Aeration System

The ProLake⁴ Electric Aeration System is designed for ponds and lakes up to 16 surface acres, with four system configurations covering 13, 14, 15, or 16 acres. Each system combines four 1/2 HP compressors with Duraplate™ diffusers to distribute air through the water column and support oxygenation, circulation, and improved water clarity.

The system uses self-cleaning, non-clogging Duraplate™ diffusers, high-volume cooling equipment, a brushed aluminum manifold, pressure gauge, and a sound-deadening cabinet. The four configurations are identified by the number of diffusers included: PL-4.13 has 13 diffusers, PL-4.14 has 14, PL-4.15 has 15, and PL-4.16 has 16.

The ProLake⁴ can be installed away from the water's edge when electrical access is more convenient at another location. The manufacturer states that the cabinet can be installed up to 4,000 feet from the water by running 1/2-inch PVC to a remote manifold, with airline then routed from the manifold to the Duraplate™ diffusers.

Installation & Assembly

System Layout

The ProLake⁴ system uses four compressors connected to a 4-port manifold. The manifold distributes air through the selected number of Duraplate™ diffuser stations, with the 4.13, 4.14, 4.15, and 4.16 configurations supplying 13, 14, 15, and 16 diffusers respectively.

Remote Installation

The aeration cabinet does not have to sit directly beside the pond or lake. ProLake states that the cabinet can be installed up to 4,000 feet from the water's edge by running 1/2-inch PVC to a remote manifold and then routing airline from the manifold to the Duraplate™ diffusers.

Electrical Installation

The system is available in 115V or 230V configurations. Electrical installation should follow the manufacturer's installation manual and applicable electrical requirements for the selected voltage and installation location.

Airline Installation

Standard ProLake⁴ configurations do not include Alpine™ 1/2-inch weighted airline. Airline should be sized and installed according to the system layout and installation requirements.

Maintenance & Operation

Continuous Operation

The ProLake⁴ is designed for 24/7 operation. Continuous aeration helps circulate water and oxygenate the water column, supporting overall pond and lake water quality.

Duraplate™ Diffusers

The Duraplate™ diffusers are designed to be non-clogging and self-cleaning. The diffuser components are also designed to withstand heavy loads and are protected from exposure to debris and other potential damage.

Sound Management

The compressor equipment is housed in a durable sound-deadening cabinet with 1-inch ASTM-certified acoustical foam. The listed operational sound level is 50/60 dB.

Programmable Timer

The programmable timer is listed as an add-on for the ProLake⁴ configurations. When equipped, the ProLake timer provides scheduled operation with seven-day, 24-hour control, manual override, power outage backup, schedule retention, and a locking hasp.

Warranty

2-Year Product Warranty

The ProLake⁴ system carries a 2-year complete product warranty. The compressors and cabinet are also covered for 2 years according to the manufacturer's warranty terms.

Duraplate™ diffusers and Alpine™ 1/2-inch weighted airline carry lifetime warranties where applicable, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms.
