A Note Before You Order

Choose the system configuration based on your pond or lake size and the number of diffuser locations required. ProLake² systems are available with 115V or 230V compressors. Weighted airline is not included with the standard configurations, so airline requirements should be planned separately. Electrical installation should be completed according to applicable local requirements and the manufacturer's installation instructions.

ProLake² Electric Aeration System

The ProLake² Electric Aeration System is designed for ponds and lakes from 5 to 8 surface acres, with four configurations that provide different numbers of Duraplate™ diffusers. Each system uses two 1/2 HP compressors to deliver compressed air through the diffuser network, helping circulate water through the entire water column and support improved water quality and clarity.

The system combines two compressors, high-volume cooling, adjustable brushed aluminum manifolds, a pressure gauge, and a programmable timer inside a durable sound-deadening cabinet. The programmable timer provides seven-day and 24-hour scheduling, while the cabinet can be positioned away from the pond edge when a more convenient electrical location is needed.

ProLake² cabinets can be installed up to 4,000 feet from the water by using 1/2-inch PVC from the aeration cabinet to a remote manifold. Airline can then run from the remote manifold to the Duraplate™ diffusers, allowing the equipment to be located where electrical service is more accessible.

Installation & Assembly

Cabinet Location

The ProLake² cabinet can be positioned away from the pond or lake where electrical service is easier to access. The manufacturer states that the cabinet can be installed up to 4,000 feet from the water when a 1/2-inch PVC line is used to connect the cabinet to a remote manifold.

Remote Manifold Setup

For remote installations, 1/2-inch PVC can run from the aeration cabinet to a remote manifold. The airline is then routed from the manifold to the Duraplate™ diffusers positioned in the pond or lake.

Electrical Installation

Electrical connections should be completed according to the supplied Electric Installation Manual and applicable local electrical requirements. Select the correct 115V or 230V configuration for the available electrical service.

Maintenance & Operation

Programmable Timer

The ProLake² includes a programmable timer with seven-day and 24-hour scheduling, power outage backup, manual override, permanent schedule retention, and a locking hasp. This allows operating schedules to be set around the needs of the pond or lake.

Duraplate™ Diffusers

The self-cleaning Duraplate™ diffusers are designed to resist clogging while distributing compressed air through the water column. The diffusers can be installed at depths of up to 50 feet, depending on the application.

Airline Planning

Standard ProLake² configurations do not include Alpine™ 1/2-inch weighted airline. Airline should be sized and routed according to the selected system configuration and installation layout.

The ProLake² complete product, compressors, and cabinet are covered by a 2-year warranty under the manufacturer's warranty terms.

The Duraplate™ diffusers and Alpine™ 1/2-inch weighted airline carry lifetime warranties as specified by the manufacturer.
