A Note Before You Order

Choose the diffuser configuration that matches your aeration system. The 7-inch Duraplate Diffuser is designed for Solaer solar aeration systems, while the 9-inch configurations are designed for ProLake electric aeration systems. Tubing is not included. Each Duraplate Diffuser includes a 3/8-inch adapter and two clamps.

ProLake Duraplate™ Diffusers

Duraplate™ Diffusers are designed for pond and lake aeration systems that need effective water circulation and oxygen transfer throughout the water column. The diffuser's shroud and vented design create a controlled laminar flow that helps lift and circulate water from deeper areas toward the surface.

The self-cleaning, non-clogging membrane produces fine bubbles and supports a high oxygen transfer rate. Duraplate Diffusers are designed to remain in place without the frequent removal and cleaning required by many conventional diffuser designs. The rotationally molded diffuser shell also provides resistance to fishhooks, making the system suitable for fishing ponds and lakes.

Configuration Guide

7 Inch Standard Diffuser

The 7-inch standard Duraplate Diffuser is designed for all Solaer® solar aeration system models. This configuration uses the Duraplate membrane diffuser to produce fine bubbles and circulate water through the pond.

9 Inch Standard Diffuser

The 9-inch standard Duraplate Diffuser is designed for all ProLake™ electric aeration system models and provides a single diffuser configuration for pond aeration applications.

9 Inch Dual Diffuser

The 9-inch dual-head configuration is designed for ProLake™ electric aeration systems where additional diffuser coverage is needed.

9 Inch Quad Diffuser

The 9-inch quad-head configuration is designed for ProLake™ electric aeration systems used on larger pond and lake applications where a single diffuser layout may not provide enough coverage.

Replacement Diffuser Heads

Replacement 7-inch and 9-inch diffuser heads are available for maintaining existing Duraplate Diffuser assemblies. The 7-inch replacement head is for Solaer® systems, while the 9-inch replacement head is for ProLake™ systems.

Installation & Assembly

System Connection

Duraplate Diffusers connect to the appropriate aeration tubing through the included 3/8-inch adapter. Tubing is not included with the diffuser.

Included Hardware

Each Duraplate Diffuser includes a 3/8-inch adapter and two clamps for connecting the diffuser assembly to the aeration tubing.

Placement

The diffuser should be positioned as part of the aeration system layout so the rising water column can circulate water through the pond. For system-specific placement and installation requirements, follow the instructions for your Solaer® or ProLake™ aeration system.

Self-Cleaning Design
