Choose the bracket version based on the motor size of your AquaSweep® or De-Icer. The Standard Dock Post Bracket is intended for 1/3 HP and 1/2 HP models. For higher-horsepower models, select the HD Max Dock Post Bracket. The AquaSweep® or De-Icer is sold separately.

Scott Aerator Dock Post Bracket

The Scott Aerator Dock Post Bracket provides a mounting option for installing an AquaSweep® or De-Icer on docks with round metal posts. It replaces the standard dock plate when a post-mounted installation is better suited to the dock structure.

The Standard version is designed for 1/3 HP and 1/2 HP AquaSweep® and De-Icer models. For higher-horsepower applications, the HD Max Dock Post Bracket is available for 3/4 HP and 1 HP 115V motors. Both versions provide an alternative to standard dock plate mounting for compatible dock configurations.

The Standard Dock Post Bracket is intended for 1/3 HP and 1/2 HP AquaSweep® and De-Icer models.

HD Max Dock Post Bracket

The HD Max Dock Post Bracket is the higher-capacity mounting option for 3/4 HP and 1 HP 115V motors.

Choose the HD Max version when the compatible AquaSweep® or De-Icer configuration requires the higher-horsepower mounting option.

Installation & Assembly

Post Mounting

The Dock Post Bracket is designed to attach a compatible AquaSweep® or De-Icer mounting assembly to a round metal dock post. The bracket replaces the standard dock plate when this mounting configuration is selected.

Compatible Post Sizes

The standard mounting hardware is designed for round posts, with published installation information indicating that the included U-bolts accommodate posts up to approximately 1 7/8 inches in diameter. The bracket slots can accommodate larger U-bolts for posts up to approximately 2 1/2 inches when appropriately sized hardware is sourced separately.

Mounting Shaft

The stainless steel clamping blocks are designed to secure mounting poles with an outer diameter of 1 1/4 inches.

The standard Dock Plate is designed for long-term installation on a dock or similar structure.

Dock Post Bracket

The Dock Post Bracket is intended for docks with round metal posts and replaces the standard dock plate on compatible Dock Mount AquaSweep® and De-Icer installations.

Truss Mount

The Dock Truss Mount is designed for metal docks and comparable frames where a non-destructive attachment method is preferred.

Tripod Mount

The Tripod Mount installs directly into the ground beneath the water and provides an alternative when a dock is not available.
