A Note Before You Order

Select the correct motor voltage and cable configuration for your installation. A GFCI-protected circuit is required. Always disconnect power whenever swimmers are present, and do not use an extension cord to supply power to the motor. The standard Dock Mount AquaSweep includes a 50-foot submersible power cable, with longer cable lengths available.

Scott Aerator Dock Mount AquaSweep®

The Dock Mount AquaSweep® is designed to move muck, silt, weeds, algae, leaves, and floating debris away from docks, swimming areas, beaches, boat lifts, and other waterfront spaces. Its high-velocity water flow helps clear unwanted material from the surface and bottom while improving water movement around the shoreline.

The AquaSweep® uses an oil-free, fully submersible motor and a protective stainless steel debris shield that helps prevent weeds and other material from clogging the moving parts. The dock-mounted design allows the unit to be positioned vertically and aimed toward the area that needs clearing. For bottom muck removal, Scott Aerator recommends positioning the unit approximately 2 to 4 inches from the lake or pond bottom.

Installation & Assembly

Dock Mount Installation

The included stainless steel dock mounting plate is designed for installation on a sturdy wooden or metal dock. The mounting plate secures to the dock using the supplied Phillips head screws. Pilot holes can be drilled when needed to help prevent cracking of deck material.

Positioning

For bottom muck removal, position the AquaSweep approximately 2 to 4 inches from the lake or pond bottom. The installation guide specifies a minimum water depth of 12 inches. The unit can be vertically adjusted and aimed to direct water flow toward the area being cleared.

Included Components

The Dock Mount kit includes the AquaSweep housing and yoke, stainless steel debris shield, stainless steel pole, dock mounting plate, lubricating compound, thumb screws, self-tapping screws, and Phillips head screws.

Electrical Safety

Connect the unit only to a GFCI-protected circuit. Always disconnect the power source when swimmers are present. Do not use an extension cord to supply power to the motor.

Optional Mounting Upgrades

Alternative mounting options include a dock post bracket, truss mount, tripod mount, and quick release adapter. These options can provide additional installation flexibility depending on the dock or shoreline configuration.

Maintenance & Winter Operation

Routine Maintenance

The AquaSweep requires very little routine maintenance. When the unit is removed from the water, wash it with high-pressure water and inspect the housing, debris shield, and water path to make sure nothing is restricting flow.

Propeller Replacement

Scott Aerator recommends replacing the AquaSweep propeller assembly approximately every three years as a general maintenance interval. The propeller can be replaced on site.

Thumb Screw Lubrication

Periodically lubricate the stainless steel thumb screws with the supplied stainless-steel lubricating compound. The manufacturer states that regular lubrication helps maintain proper operation and is required for warranty validation.

Winter Operation

The AquaSweep is engineered for year-round operation and may also be unplugged and left installed during winter. If the unit is removed from the pond or lake, the pump should be stored submerged in a 5-gallon bucket of water to help prevent damage to the pump seals.

Warranty

5-Year Motor Warranty

The AquaSweep motor is covered by a 5-year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship under normal operating conditions.

Other product components are covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms.
