Quick Facts
A Note Before You Use It
The Weed Razer blade is dangerously sharp. Use caution when assembling, using, and storing the tool. Gloves are advisable when handling the blade.
Scott Aerator Weed Razer
The Weed Razer is a manual aquatic weed cutter designed to help clear unwanted vegetation from ponds, lakes, and other waterways. Its 48-inch cutting width creates a wide path through aquatic weeds such as milfoil, hydrilla, cattails, and lily pads.
The Weed Razer can be tossed from a dock, shoreline, or boat and allowed to sink to the bottom. Its 25-foot retrieval rope lets you pull the cutter back with short, controlled movements. Because the blades cut vegetation at the base, the tool is designed to slice through weeds rather than simply dragging or tearing them.
How It Works
Step 1: Give It a Toss
Throw the Weed Razer from a dock, shoreline, or boat toward the area where aquatic weeds need to be removed.
Step 2: Let It Sink
Allow the Weed Razer to sink to the bottom so the blades are positioned at the base of the vegetation.
Step 3: Retrieve
Use the 25-foot rope to retrieve the cutter with short, jerking actions that pull the blades through the vegetation.
Step 4: Repeat as Needed
Continue working the area until the desired path has been cleared of aquatic vegetation.
